Refund and Returns Policy

At Automotive Tech, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our products. This policy outlines your rights and our procedures for returns and refunds, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and Google Merchant Center requirements.

Change of Mind Returns

If you change your mind about a purchase, you may return the item within 30 days of receipt, provided that:

  • The item is unused, in its original packaging, and in resalable condition.
  • All accessories and manuals are included.
  • Proof of purchase is provided.

Please note:

  • Return shipping costs for change of mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.
  • We recommend using a tracked shipping method to ensure safe return.

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, faulty, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.

In such cases:

  • Contact us at cameron@automotivetech.com.au within 7 days of receiving the item.
  • Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and any relevant photos or videos.
  • We will assess the issue and, if applicable, offer a repair, replacement, or full refund.
  • For approved claims, we will cover the return shipping costs.

How to Return an Item

  1. Email cameron@automotivetech.com.au with your order details and reason for return.
  2. Await confirmation and return instructions from our team.
  3. Package the item securely, including all original contents.
  4. Ship the item to the address provided in our return instructions.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect the returned item:

  • We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
